TWOPACK COVID-19 PREVENTION STRATEGIES

Common symptoms of COVID-19 include:
A)  Fever (high temperature – 37.5 degrees Celsius or above)
B)  A cough - this can be any kind of cough, not just dry
C)  Breathing difficulties
D)  Fatigue

Our Chefs and Riders

  • Our chefs have undergone inoculation and testing and have food handling certificates.
  • Our chefs have undergone covid-19 testing every 14 days.
  • We take Chefs and Riders temperature daily and before duty/work starts. This is repeated for every dish delivered.
  • Chef’s and Riders are required to wash hands and sanitize before handling food and do so repeatedly when leaving and resuming food production throughout the work-shift.
  • They wear Personal protective equipment (PPE), such as masks and gloves to keep themselves and our customers from the danger of contracting COVID-19.
  • Each rider carries a hand sanitizer and reminds customers to sanitize before the food is delivered/handed over to them.
  • Regular training for all staff on covid-19 prevention.


Prevention strategies for Food Preparation

1.  Our chefs prepare meals under the highest levels of hygiene to ensure the food is safe and healthy for your body:
            -  Food preparation and management equipment are cleaned and sanitised regularly.
            -  Maintenance of the proper clothing includes wearing an apron, coat, hairnet, disposable masks and gloves while working.
2.  Provision of larger workstations on either side of processing lines so that the chefs and other food workers are not facing one another and managing the social distance.

3. Our food delivery bags are cleaned and sanitized after every delivery.
4. The food packaging containers are easy to clean, prevent contamination, keep the food at the right temperatures and disposable.
5.  Food containers have a tamper-proof seal to ensure high quality and hygiene is maintained.
